Excellent post.

"How can a country that should have learned from the horrors of World War II vote 18% in favor of a party susceptible to fascism?"

They will never learn.

After 500 years of oppression and racism against "Others", the evidence is that Europe's "lessons' cannot be learned. . . .until maybe after 50,000 years, then MAYBE some type of lesson may start to make an impact.

Until then. . . .ain't gonna happen.

I appreciate your view instead of showing bias to one religion you are trying to point out similarities in both religions.
What is your comment on religious conversions?
Can I expect an answer from you?

As we all know that God is one, and its good to see unity & similarity in between different gods and religions. But this is my point of view that we should accept Krishna as Krishna only, we should not try to compare Krishna with Jesus or Jesus with Krishna.
For all Krishna lovers I would like to share a link where they can find an elaborative explanation on Bhagwad Geeta .

Hm. I take Queen Rania with a grain of salt -- she's had an incredibly privileged life. But incredibly. I wouldn't be shocked if she's either out of touch or trying to do PR.

They've been big on PR since 9/11.

Honor killings are a huge issue in Jordan.

Sexism in general is pretty big in Arab countries. The thing that tends to save a lot of them is money, so there, I will say they probably have it better than third world Islamic countries. Money solves a lot of problems and rich women are always not quite as oppressed as poor women with the same circumstances in other respects.
